Total Carnage Clan Creed:
First and foremost, we play for the fun of the game and as a team. We are good people at heart and most of what is said below falls in line with being just that. Your membership in |-TC-| is a privilege that you should be proud of. When you play with this tag you represent all of us. The following guidelines are for new members, prospective members and also for our existing members. We want you to understand what's expected of you as a member of |-TC-| and also our general philosophy of the game. Breaking the following rules could result in being removed from the clan.
Conduct
- It is imperative that all members of |-TC-| have an exemplary attitude, therefore, we expect and demand that all members display character and integrity in all of their public actions. Degrading anyone with less playing ability is completely unacceptable. All of us were rookies at one time, and there is someone out there better than each of us. It is our desire to encourage newcomers to the game and make their playing experience enjoyable with tough, fair competition as well as helping them improve their skill. Courteous behaviour is expected at all times. You will display the utmost level of respect to clan NCOs and Officers, these people run the clan and are extremely devoted to the clan, therefore they should be respected.
- |-TC-| consists of members both younger and older. Members can both be male and female and come from a wide range of racial and social backgrounds, therefore, though not solely because of this, belligerent comments regarding gender, race, or age, are absolutely forbidden in forums or while playing. Strong language is acceptable in moderation.
- Talking trash can be fun sometimes when you are friendly with the recipient of the trash. However it is neither the intention nor the desire of |-TC-| to make any enemies due to loose-mouthed, tact less comments. Therefore, it is expected that all members will exercise restraint, particularly in a crowded server with individuals and clans unfamiliar to us. Again, know who your audience is. People often take jests personally, and there is really no need to make nasty remarks to strangers. Furthermore, remarks because of ping envy are unacceptable. We would all have the lowest ping possible were we able. Understandably, ping makes a difference, but it is still the right of that individual to play without being harassed. Save all remarks, frustrations, and venting for private chats with your clan mates.
- If another player, any player, asks for advice, we ask that you be courteous and as helpful as you are able. We wish to keep no secrets from anyone (apart from clan tactics). Helping and developing new players is not only a gratifying experience, it keeps interest in the game alive.
- NO cheating, NO aim-bots, NO hacks. Any player found using these during public play or competitive play will be removed promptly.
Membership
- Induction into |-TC-| is by application only . Membership will be granted or denied based on your attitude, your teamwork skills, your general skills, and your availability. From our experience attitudes don't change often and if you've demonstrated poor attitude or sportsmanship in the past, you probably don't have a chance of membership with |-TC-|.
- We tend to not generally accept members younger than 15, but exceptions can be made depending on your maturity and that you don't have a squeaky voice.
- Multi-clanning (being in more then one clan at the same time) is NOT encouraged. We believe that multi-clanning is a sign of a lack of true dedication to |-TC-|, which we desire from all our members. We request potential members to be up front with us as far as their clan status/intentions prior to joining. There may be some exceptions to this but you'll have to get the okay from a leader. The |-TC-| tag should be worn proud and by itself. Joining tournaments is NOT considered multi-clanning.
- You're expected to wear the |-TC-| tag almost all the time you play. If there are situations in which you feel either using your frag name or tag is not in the best interests of your stats or clan stats, use an alias such that people can identify you. We ask when using an alias you are |-TC-| in character and integrity.
- As a |-TC-| Member or Recruit you are expected to check the forum ever day . If you don't check the forums then you might as well not be part of the clan, as all the clan info about scrims, trials and any thing going on will be posted there. If you are going to be away for a given period of time because you are on vacation or something similar then inform the clan by posting a topic about when u are going and for how long and the reason why so that we know why you are away, where you are, and when you are coming back.
- You can and probably will be kicked from this clan at any time for not complying with the clan creed or spirit of the clan. Most often there is a discussion with other high ranking |-TC-| members if this is necessary. If you don't represent us well then we don't want you, regardless of skill.
